Merge PDF files
Combine several PDFs into one, in the order you choose. Drag the rows to reorder them, then save. The files never leave this tab.
Before you upload anything — you will not have to
- How many files can I merge?
- As many as your browser can hold in memory. Each file is capped at 100 MB and 2 000 pages, which is where a browser tab starts to struggle rather than an arbitrary paywall.
- What gets lost when PDFs are combined?
- Merging copies pages into a new document, and some things live outside the pages: form fields, bookmarks, attachments and the document title belong to the file, not to any page. The tool lists what it dropped rather than letting you find out later.
- Are password-protected files supported?
- Not directly — remove the password first with Protect with a password, then merge. An encrypted file is refused with that sentence rather than a generic failure.
