Edit a PDF in your browser
Add text, rewrite what is already there, white out, highlight, draw, sign, and place images or shapes — then apply it all at once. The document stays on your machine from start to finish.
Before you upload anything — you will not have to
- Does my file leave my computer?
- No. The editor runs in this tab, and there is no server here to send a document to. The counter above the tools stays at zero while you work.
- Can I edit text that is already in the PDF?
- Where it is safe to. A line that shares a text block with others cannot be changed without moving them, and a font stored as glyph indices rather than characters cannot be retyped — those lines are marked instead of being silently mangled.
- Is whiteout the same as redaction?
- No, and this is worth being clear about: whiteout draws a rectangle over the words. The text underneath stays in the file and can still be selected or extracted. Use it to tidy a page, not to hide a secret.
